How was SFTW born?

SFTW was born as an idea in 2014, in Nepal.

We wanted to make it accessible for everyone to develop their passion while helping the world.

Yes, it’s free. You just have to pay for your flight to the destination. Our profesional advising and finding you a host is totally free.

What does it mean I organise my own volunteering program?

It means that SFTW is just the middleman. You will talk directly to your host once the match is made and you will arrange all your volunteering.
